About the Mill Pond rug
This handmade rug is tufted with bright autumnal colours in a landscape pond scene design. Tufted in post box red, bright red, wine red, burgundy, red, plumb, magenta, barbie pink, bright pink, mustard yellow, gold yellow, ochre, orange, rust, tangerine and bright orange rug wools.
Handmade in Stroud in my garden studio with sustainably sourced dead stock RUG WOOL from the UK. This tufted rug is made for you to walk on, as it uses rug wool, it can go on any floor or even up on the wall. A little bit of bright zingy pop of colour to add a statement to your home, pair with a more neutral home for added pop!
Its sumptuous pile is meant for smooshing your toes in and at around a luxurious inch thick it really is a treat for your feet.
This tufted rug is unapologetically dynamic and striking its the perfect piece of functional textile art to bring joy your home.

- Sustainably sourced, hardwearing rug wool. I use 80/20 rug wool it is 80% natural fiber wool and other 20% is synthetic and also factors in the dyeing process. This wool blend allows the rugs to be soft but also durable.
- I tuft onto polyester backing fabric for durability.
- All my rugs are backed with natural latex made here in the UK
- I use coloured cotton herringbone tape to fix the edges and finish off the rug with a organic cotton Studio Tuft label

Want to hang your rug on the wall? Here are a few tips for styling your textile art.
-wall hangings come with ‘D’ hooks attached so you can just pop on a hook or nail already in you wall.
-I have hanging device options for you to choose from, either small square hanging blocks or a cross rug bar. I suggest the hanging blocks as they are more discrete but for a larger rug or circular rug I would suggest the cross bar for stability. Send me an email if you would like more info
-alternatively you can nail a few sturdy nails through the rug and into the wall. This doesnt damage the rug and you can fluff the pile over the nail after.
