About the Seaweed rug
This handmade rug is tufted with a seaweed sandy yellow beach design. Tufted in grass green, olive green, kaki, forest green, dark green, sage green, burgundy, grey, light grey, butter yellow, sandy yellow, light pink, pastel pink rug wools.
Handmade in Stroud in my garden studio with sustainably sourced RUG WOOL from the UK. This handmade tufted rug is made from purpose rug wool so is ok for you to walk. The seaweed rug is a medium size rug that is perfect for beach lovers and would fit well in your living room, bedroom or conservatory.
Its sumptuous deep pile is meant for treading on and ok to use on the floor.
This tufted textile art rug is fun and characterful and the perfect way to remind you of your favourite beach times.

- Sustainably sourced, hardwearing rug wool. I use 80/20 rug wool it is 80% natural fiber wool and other 20% is synthetic and also factors in the dyeing process. This wool blend allows the rugs to be soft but also durable.
- I tuft onto polyester backing fabric for durability.
- All my rugs are backed with natural latex made here in the UK
- I use coloured cotton herringbone tape to fix the edges and finish off the rug with a organic cotton Studio Tuft label

Want to hang your rug on the wall? Here are a few tips for styling your textile art.
-wall hangings come with ‘D’ hooks attached so you can just pop on a hook or nail already in you wall.
-I have hanging device options for you to choose from, either small square hanging blocks or a cross rug bar. I suggest the hanging blocks as they are more discrete but for a larger rug or circular rug I would suggest the cross bar for stability. Send me an email if you would like more info
-alternatively you can nail a few sturdy nails through the rug and into the wall. This doesnt damage the rug and you can fluff the pile over the nail after.
